The Traditions Team is dedicated to position its residences as community leaders through a three point commitment to controlling costs and minimizing senior's housing occupancy costs.
1. Collaborative Care: Families, friends and volunteers will be encouraged to participate in The Traditions community providing general supervisory services, mobility assistance or general labour services and receive credit for these services as they choose to designate, either directly off their own family member's occupancy cost or to the community as a whole.
2. Concierge Care: The Traditions staff will provide a home care service focused on helping local seniors with daily chores, meals, medication management, housekeeping and local errands. These services will operate on a margin but positioned competitively with profits being applied directly to the reduction of all Traditions residents’ occupancy costs. While providing a service and helping Traditions residents better afford their living expenses the home care program will create a relationship with the community's residents.
3. A-La-Carte Services: Traditions will incrementally price all services beyond basic occupancy costs to ensure that residents are only paying for services they use. Many competitors will tier the services which still leads to overpayment by the resident or their family for the actual services consumed. Through technology based applications, Traditions will provide cost efficient solutions for residents to interact with their family, friends and staff.
